What? Summer's over? How come I wasn't informed of this? Oh, pardon me. Just lost my mind for a moment. So, where were we? Oh, yeah. The "Comments" page of my website, trying to come up with something witty and newsworthy to say. Guess I'll give it a try.

The farmers market season is all but over now. And yes, unfortunately, I haven't been very good at updating this and the "Appearances" page of the website due to a snafu with some password changes and other silly stuff that happens when I'm not aware. (Practically a perpetual state of being for me.) It was a big success playing at the St. Paul Farmers Market in both May and July. The hinges on peoples wallets there are very well oiled. My wallet benefitted tremendously from that as the gig is a "tips only" gig...no guaranteed pay.

The fall and winter will find me playing mostly long term care facilities, though I will be searching out a few more public venues. That, in itself, is almost a full-time job and I, of course, already work full-time at a medical clinic here in the Twin Cities. Ah, such is the life of a "sidelight" musician.

As new venues come to fruition, I will keep you posted here.

Keep a song in your heart and a spring in your step.
